Our New Playground
A piece comparing how children used to play in a playground, to the digital playground they are all parts of. It is complied of a net (the playground nets) and in certain cells live embroidered homepages of social media. In the center is a hammock, full of social media pillows, and a place for anyone to hang out, in the social media playground. Also supplied were two disposable cameras, allowing visitors to capture their moments.
I chose to embroider these pieces for multiple reasons. 1- It is how people spent their time in the past. 2- It takes so many pieces of thread to form one big picture, like how each line of code creates the website, or how each one of us forms this huge social playground.
Each embroidered social media cell
If you are going to lay down in a hammock, you need pillows!
What people took with those disposable cameras.

15 min of fame
As Andy Warhol once said, βIn the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.β
In this short, I looked at all of those moments, where everyday people got their minutes of fame, thanks to the rest of the world watching them.
Living in Public
Inspired by We Live in Public, I aimed to look at how we share everything online, not realizing all of what we do is owned by someone else.
